My name is Colin MacLaurin, and I'm from Newcastle, Australia.

The photo is of me with an Aboriginal boy in Walgett, a remote town in New South Wales. A group of us went on a "StormCo" trip to see if we could make a difference in the community.

I am interested in lots of things, but especially spirituality, making friends, and learning - which all overlap anyway. I am a "faithful" yet "open minded" Christian, and have nearly completed a degree in religion. I will soon be working for a church in Melbourne. I have a big interest in other cultures. I have lots of ambitions, but three of those are to "share the love" in the world, learn another language, and also to formally study another religion (possibly Islam or Buddhism).

You could say I look for God in All people and places.
